University of Oklahoma -- Week 3

University of OK ~ Week 3


Monday (6/15) : Jenica and I worked intensely on our recipe project. We came up with Allergen Free Macaroni and Cheese.


Tuesday (6/16) : We sat down with our preceptor, Dot Flowers to discuss our recipe proposal. We had to dig thoroughly into product websites to make sure the nutrition labels didn't contain any of the top 8 allergens that we want to avoid. We also called local grocery stores to confirm that they sold the specific products we were looking for.

Wednesday (6/17) : Jenica and I went to the US food show! We were able to sample many different foods so we definitely enjoyed ourselves.
Looks fake but it's actually all real fruits & veggies!






Hummus
